Leitner Switchbox Setup

The switch box will not work with Smartphones since we do not have an RJ9 to 3.5mm adapter. If you would like to use with your cordless phone you can order the Male 2.5mm to Male RJ9 adapter

Switchbox Set Up:

Set Compat on the box to A.

1. Plug the yellow side of the USB cord into the yellow port on the back of the box. Plug the USB side into a USB port of a computer.

2. Plug the blue side of the RJ9 cord into the blue port in the back of the box. Plug the other side of the RJ9 cord into either the headset jack or handset jack of your telephone.

3. Plug your headset’s Quick Disconnect cord into the middle jack of the switchbox.

4. Head to your computer’s sound settings and set the USB headset as your default in both Playback and Recording. Disable all other devices.

Here’s How It Works:

To use the Computer Mode make sure the button is in the UP position so that you can see white. To use it in Telephone Mode push the button DOWN so that it’s all black. So easy!

Known Compat:

The best compatibility for this is Leitner! Leitner corded sounded crisp and clean!

·   LEITNER + EASY CONNECT CORD:

o   Worked in both headset jacks and handset jacks (with EP amp as well, if needed).

o   Compat in the cord had to be adjusted. Have Customer find their best combo for their phone.

o   Sounded crisp, loud, and clear in both USB mode and in phone mode.

·         PLANTRONICS + NOPE.:

o   NOT RECOMMENDED! We did not get consistent 2-way sound from different phones and cords.

·    EXECUTIVE PRO + EP10 CORD:

o   Sounds great on both USB and Telephone mode on most telephones.

o   Can be used with EP amp if needed.

o   May not work in Cisco’s headset jack.

·     SENNHEISER + EASY CONNECT CORD:

o   Sounds great on both USB and Telephone mode on most telephones.

o   Can be used with Sennheiser amp if needed.

o   Recommend the Sennheiser Switchbox instead (catalog #2380)

o   Needs a Sennheiser Cisco IP QD cord to work in Cisco’s headset jack (catalog #1788)

·      JABRA + EITHER RJ9 QD CORD:

o   Sounds great on both USB and telephone mode on most telephones.

o   If an amp is needed, don’t get this! Jabra’s amp works as a USB/phone switchbox: Cat #2318

o   May not work in Cisco’s headset jack.
