Can Spare Leitner Wireless Headset Charge on a Base That's In Use?

Updated by Kamika Royal on Aug 9, 2024

For LH200/300 Premium Lite series, YES!

Leitner LH270 Wireless Headset

You can pop a spare headset on your Leitner LH200 or LH300 series base base. It'll charge without pairing to the base so that you can use your primary headset while the spare is charging up. This is great for folks who work super-long shifts or sit at 24 hour desks.

Pro Tip: If you do a permanent pair for training on the second headset, you can switch without anyone really noticing just by picking up the charging headset and turning it on!

Note: LH280/380 can only charge on another 280/380 base since the holders are a different shape!

For the LH500/600 Premium Plus series, NO, But...

Leitner LH570 Wireless Headset

Spare headsets for the Premium Plus series come with a charging cable and have a port to plug it in to charge. So, while you can't charge these headsets on a base that's in use (the spare headset will automatically pair and take over the base), you can keep a spare headset charged up on the included charging cable so it's ready to go as-needed!
