How to Use the Leitner Dongle LH400 Series Headsets

The Leitner LH470 and LH475 both have a DECT dongle that plugs directly into a USB port in your computer. Here are the instructions on how to use it:

Note: This dongle and headset are NOT Bluetooth, and will not be able to pair with a cell phone or other Bluetooth device.

Using the Leitner Premium Dongle Headset

Turning the headset on and off

• To turn the headset on, press the silver button on the side with the microphone. The FocusLight on the headset will turn blue.
• To turn it off, just press the same button again and the FocusLight will go out and the headset will be turned off.

Sleep mode

• If it's your first time using your headset, OR your dongle has been unplugged for awhile, the headset may be in Sleep Mode
• To wake it up, simply press and hold the on/off button on your headset until you see a purple flashing light
• Once the headset stops flashing, it will turn on and off as normal!

Adjusting volume

• Increase/decrease the speaker volume by clicking the buttons above and below the microphone respectively
• Mute the microphone by pressing and holding either volume control button for 1 second. You will hear a beep, and the headset will turn purple. Unmute by pressing and holding either volume again for 1 second

Charging

• The headset will come with a USB-C to USB-A cord, which you can use to charge the headset.

Additional Information

• If you have the LH570/575 or LH670/675, you can pair the headset to the dongle!
• The LH470, LH570, and LH670 all use the same microphones
• The LH475, LH575, and LH675 all use the same microphones

Can I leave my headset plugged in charging overnight, or will it shorten the life of the battery.

It’s perfectly fine to leave your headset charging overnight. In fact, we recommend it! This will not hurt the overall battery life and will make sure it’s fully charged and ready for you in the morning.
